The Princess Diaries
by Meg Cabot

The Princess Diaries is a wonderful book, much better than the movie (in my opinion). In it, Mia Thermopolis' life gets turned upside down when she finds out her dad can't have any more children and she is now the heir to the throne of Genovia, a small coastal European country. In the book, Mia battles an evil grandmother, deals with a scheming best friend, and tries to find true love, all while trying to cover her princess identity. Does she succeed? Read the book to find out.

The Princess Diaries is about a girl named Mia who finds out she is the princess of Genovia. Her grandmother who is currently the queen gives Mia lessons on how to be a princess. At the end of this book Mia is ready to rule Genovia. I would recommend this book to a friend because it is a very enjoyable book.
