Lock and Key
by Sarah Dessen

Sarah Dessen's newest novel, "Lock and Key", tells the story of a seventeen-year-old Ruby, who has been living alone in her rented house. When her landlords discover this, she is sent to live with her estranged sister Cora, thrust into a completely the completely unfamiliar world of the suburban affluent. As Ruby struggles to find where she fits in, she deals with her mother's abandonment and watches as her old relationships crumble and new ones build. Though the beginning is a bit slow, "Lock and Key" is highly recommended, especially to fans of Dessen's work.
