The Curse of Ravenscourt
by Sarah Masters Buckey

The Curse of Ravens court was a very entertaining book. It was about a girl named Samantha who moved into a hotel for a couple weeks, while their attic was getting worked on for a room for her and her three sisters, Nellie, Bridget, and Jenny. The hotel they moved into was Ravenscourt. Nellie quickly recognized Mr. Rave, the landlord. She became frightened of him, remembering him being the cruel landlord of a crummy apartment she used to live in. Their temporary maid told Nellie and Samantha a story of Mr. Raven being cursed by Grandma Kindly, who accused him of killing her only grandson. Inncodents happened at the hotel, which convinced them the curse was real. When Nellie and Samantha went to the roof top garden and saw the manager Mr. Winthrop pushing a dangerous statue of a raven off the building. When he realized that Nellie and Samantha saw him, he held them against their will clinging to their coat collars. Will Samantha and Nellie get a way? Read this book!

I like this book because it glued my eyes to the pages and I couldn't set the book down. I would recommend this book to my friends for a great mystery.
