Wenny Has Wings
by Janet Lee Carey

"Wenny has Wings" by Janet Lee Carey is about a boy, Will, whose sister, Wenny, had encountered a deathly accident by being hit by a truck while crossing the street. As he was in the Emergancy Room he felt like he was floating away and then found himself looking at his own lifless body on the E.R. bed. (As an Angel). Then he was in a dark tunnel with a faint light ahead and Wenny was far ahead of him, he was going to Heaven. Then a of a sudden he heard, "Clear!" and was looking at his parents he was alive. Once he came back home his parents told him that Wenny was dead. Now he writes in his journal to Wenny ever since. In the end his parent and Will find to look back at the good times like Wenny was still there. I think "Wenny has Wings" was a unique book and I would defiantly recommend it to my friends, because it was full of suspense and very great to help understand how much you love someone.

This book has taught me so many things like to love your family and to look out for each other and to look back on the good times, when times get bad.
I think that I related to the characters because when I read this book I felt the main characters sorrow and how he missed his sister because I know I would too, I would feel like it was all my fault that my sister was hurt and injured. So thank you for reading this review.

Wenny has Wings is about a little girl and a little boy. The girl's name is Wenny. One day when she was going to get some materials for a pine wood derby car, a car got out of control and hit Wenny and her brother. Wenny dies and her brother is still living. So her brother gets a notebook and writes her letters everyday. Wenny has Wings is a great book. I think you should read it.
