The Hobbit
by J.R.R. Tolkien

Bilbo Baggins leads an ordinary life until a wizard and a band of dwarves show up at his doorstep. They explain that they are looking to find a lost treasure and Bilbo will be needed. After many delays, they reach the cave that the treasure is located at only to find that they still need to get past the dragon. The dragon is killed, and the dwarves and Bilbo end up with the treasure in the end.

This is a book about Bilbo Baggins' adventures with 13 dwarves and a wizard. They are on a quest to get back the dwarves' gold from Smaug, the evil dragon. On the journey there, Bilbo finds a ring that will make you invisible. In the end, the dragon gets killed, and the dwarves get their gold. I think this is a great book and would recommend it to everybody.

Fantasy/adventure is one of my favorite book genres. So, as you can guess, I absolutely loved this book. For those who have not yet read this book, it is about a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins. This poor hobbit gets pulled into an adventure. Bilbo meets singing elves, battles giant spiders, exchanges riddles with Gollum and discovers a magic ring. I very highly recommend this book.

J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" is about a Hobbit, who gets sent by a wizard to go on a Journey. They went on a quest to reclaim the long lost treasure from the dragon Smaug. The encountered many adventures on the way where they found that there was more about him than they guessed, just as the wizard said.

I like this book because there is much excitement and friendship, and it tells of a very little person who plays a big part in a grand adventure.
