ABOVE TEXT READS:

The Womelsdorff Patent Cinder and Ballast Car will carry 60,000 lbs. of cinders. One man can unload with ease. The load is deposited at the ends of the ties from an apron hung on the intermediate rails. Four Divisions in apron which allows one-fourth of the car to be unloaded at a time and just the amount required in a place can be dumped. It is found of much service in station yards, as Switch crew takes the car from cinder pit, and uunloads without any additional help.
