All media are covered by detailed indexes and cross-indexes.

Gale Encyclopedia of e-Commerce

This encyclopedia presents a comprehensive overview of the topics, terminology, principal companies and people, and events that are most relevant to the e-commerce industry. Over 470 essays - each followed by citations for further information - are arranged alphabetically. Numerous cross-references and a master index allow for locating information quickly.

Exporters' Encyclopedia

Covering the world of exports, this resource is divided into five separate sections: the export decision (basic information, sample documents, and a glossary of important terminology); export markets (detailed information at the country level); export know-how (more in-depth coverage of specific issues); communications data (information on radio and cable regulations, international mail, time zones, and postal data); information sources/services (government assistance, associations, world trade centers, and treaty organizations); and transportation data (information on the various ports within the United States, foreign trade zones, and U.S. Customs Service Ports of Entry).

Broadcasting & Cable Yearbook

This resource provides an incredible amount of information on the broadcasting and cable industries. Divided into ten sections, the Yearbook covers information such as: a full listing of television stations by state; marketplace statistics and penetration for cable; several indexes of radio stations and directory information; and information on associations, events, education and awards.

SRDS Newspaper Advertising Source

This resource lists nearly every newspaper in the country (including weekly, college and university, newspaper distributed magazines and comics, and ethnic) and many of the most important international newspapers. Information provided for each includes standard directory information, publication information (circulation, special features, pricing, etc.), advertising and editorial pricing information, and special information on the requirements and policies governing submission of advertisements.

SRDS Direct Marketing List Source

This directory includes information on over 45,000 sources for locating marketing lists in 223 different consumer and business classifications. Information included in each entry covers everything from frequency of updates and prices to search criteria and delivery methods.

SRDS Radio Advertising Source
659.14202 SRDS

This guide to the radio media includes contact information and profiles (formats, operating schedules, affiliations, audience profiles, and facilities) of almost every commercial station in the United States. Other sections include average quarter-hour shares for each station within each market and listings of syndicators, networks, and group owners. Three indexes - alphabetical, geographic, and format - allow for the compilation of lists of stations that match certain criteria.

Standard Directory of Advertisers
670.58 Standard

Covering companies that spend a minimum of $200,000 on national and regional advertising, this resource lists companies alphabetically within broad categories. For each company, the following information is provided: company name and contact information, approximate sales, number of employees, a description of the business, SIC code(s), total advertising expenditures (total and broken down by media), the advertising media that are used, key personnel, tradenames, and ad agencies. Several indexes are also provided: product categories by state, brand name index, SIC code index, and a personnel index. Information on the leading advertisers in numerous categories, companies with in-house ad production, and a brief directory of companies offering various services and supplies is also provided.
