These books provide information on generally accepted accounting practices currently in use. The book is broken up in four major sections that are titled Financial Statements, Major Accounting Areas and Reporting, Foreign Operations and Derivative Instruments, and GAAP in Specialized Industries.

This annual guide gives simplified information on filing Federal income tax returns.

Bender's Tax Return Manual

This annual book gives detailed tips on how to fill-out Federal tax forms. Exhaustive explanations are given as to the information this is required to complete the forms along with some examples.

The library district subscribes to several online databases that may help you with your research. Those with a "Remote Access" button can be used from your home computer with a valid library card.

For information regarding accounting & taxation, you may want to try ABI/Inform or Business Source Premier. With these databases you can do keyword searching to find articles relevant to your research. You may also limit to only full-text articles.
