American Religion Data Archive (ARDA) is a project funded by the Lilly
Endowment, Inc. and acts to preserve quantitative data on American
religion, to improve access to this data, to increase the use of the data, and

Information
Summary File 1 presents counts and
information [age, sex, race, Hispanic/Latino origin, household
relationship, whether residence is owned or rented] collected from all
people and housing units.
These profiles include four tables that
provide various demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics
for the states, counties, minor civil divisions in selected states,
places, metropolitan areas, American Indian and Alaska Native areas,
Hawaiian home lands and congressional districts. It includes 100 percent
and sample data from the decennial censuses.
Summary
File 3 presents detailed population and housing data (such as place of
birth, education, employment status, income, value of housing unit, year
structure built) collected from a 1-in-6 sample and weighted to represent
the total population.
