Provide high demand items quickly.   Explore mechanisms to pursue patron recommendations. Assess need for foreign language material for collection. Provide and promote outreach service to the homebound. Consider making outreach supervision an independent function, e.g. part-time paraprofessional who deals only with outreach.          
Increase and improve internet access, dependable equipment, software, and staff awareness.   Expand linkages for programs Speed up ILL / Direct requests St. Louis County. Expand linkage with other providers.            
Keep in step with new technology -- e-books, Java Script, DVD etc.   Initiate expanded schedule of book-talks, discussions, including parent-child groups, and adult discussions.
