
Recruitment / Nepotism
The Library District will always strive to offer employment to the most qualified candidate. Notices for vacancies will be published in our internal newsletter the "Grapevine".
Vacancies not filled through transfer or promotion shall be advertised in the library branches, on the library homepage, and in the local newspapers, as needed.
As part of the recruitment guidelines, the Library District does not employ relatives of the following incumbents:
- Trustee
- Director
- Deputy Director
- Finance Coordinator
- Human Resources Coordinator
Branch Managers and Department Heads may not hire relatives to work under their direct supervision. Staff members may not work with immediate family in the same agency.
