Flexible Spending Account Plan is a voluntary program sponsored by the Library District. Substantial tax savings are possible because the plan allows employees to elect tax-free benefits instead of taxable compensation. An employee may participate in the payroll deduction program for District-sponsored health care plan premiums, for health expenses or for child care expenses.
