Workshops

Employees are encouraged to professionally develop; therefore, the District is willing to pay for workshops that directly pertain to an individual's job duties.

The immediate supervisor must approve an employee's request to attend workshops with final approval from the Director.

Tuition Reimbursement

The purpose of tuition reimbursement shall be to make specific areas of expertise available to the Library District; as such, undergraduate courses of a generalist nature will normally be excluded from the reimbursement program.

The Director must approve application for tuition reimbursement.
